My Mother is Frances Mare / Murray of Ngaati Rahiri, Ngaati Korokoro, Ngaati Wharara and Te Pouka Hapuu. I am a descendant of Moetara Motu Tongaporutu known also as Wiremu Kingi (Moetara) the 30th signatory of He Whakaputanga o te Rangatiratanga o Nu Ti ra ni, Aotearoa. He was one of the 13 Rangatira that signed the letter to King William IV on 16 November 1831.
